Bastain Jütte


Bastian Jütte was born in 1973. After studying for two years at the Richard-Strauss-Conservatory in Munich he completed his coursework with a diploma as drummer at the Musikhochschule Mannheim. He has been awarded several prizes, among others the Award of the Gasteig Foundation/Munich. He has performed and recorded with musicians such as Tony Lakatos, Adrian Mears, Roman Schwaller, Maria Schneider, Hugo Siegmeth, Till Martin, Dusko Goykovich, Rudi Mahal, Johannes Enders and has been part of productions of the Bayerische and Hessische Rundfunk.

He has played at the Festivals North Sea, Den Haag, Montreux, La Vilette de Paris, Yokohama, Jazz on the Donau, Jazz Promenade and Jazz Baltica. With the Martin Auer Quartet he has further performed in Japan, Marocco, Spain and Libanon.

As drummer of the promising Trio ‘Daerr Sieverts Jütte’ he is part of the ACT series with the new CD “Germany 12 Points”.
